About Us

3D Universe has been in operation since 2001. We specialise in creating custom 3D Digital figures for various markets, applications and clients worldwide. 

 

Our products are all created for 3D Applications like Maya, Lightwave, Poser, DAZ Studio and iClone. Using one of these applications, our clients can pose, animate and lip-sync our figures. In just a few easy steps, anyone can create quality 2D images and videos using our products.

 

Our products are used in mobile apps, books, advertising, television, web, magazines and various other media.

 

We are available for commissioned contracts, and have a history of very happy clients. For any queries on our commissioned contracts, please don't hesitate to contact us.

 

We have tremendous fun creating our products and prefer cartoon figures because of the creative freedom they bring.

 

Our custom figures are created completely in-house from concept to completely rigged, talking CG (Computer Generated) character. We develop in a number of different packages including Maya, LightWave, ZBrush, UV Layout, DAZ Studio Pro, Adobe Photoshop and several of our own home-grown utilities.

 

Currently our products are available in DAZ Studio, Poser and iClone* format (depending on the product). We also have some of our products available to purchase under a developer licence. This licence allows the client to use our content in 3D game engines.

 

Apart from home/hobbyist users, our products have also been used in the following ways:

  • Movie pre-visualization mock filming

  • Resin figurines
